If you want to understand how the “dark side” operates, this is a course you don’t want to miss.
Following strong demand from the Norwegian security community, we are once again offering this course. The previous session sold out quickly. In this course, we will cover what the dark web is, how it works, how to operate there safely and responsibly, and—most importantly—how to gather information and conduct investigations on the dark web. The course has been updated since last time and is now even more specifically tailored to Norwegian organizations.
The course will be taught by Keven Hendricks. Keven is a 20-year veteran detective with a municipal police department and has served as a Task Force Officer for two separate federal agencies. He is a published author in the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin and currently works as an instructor for Street Cop Training and Federal Resources, where he teaches law enforcement courses on the dark web and cybercrime. He is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in dark web investigations.
Keven is one of the leading law enforcement experts in the United States in this field and is coming to HackCon to deliver a course very similar to the training he provides to law enforcement on dark web investigations and cybercrime.
PS: This time, Keven has promised a deep dive into the dark web with participants. He will also present entirely new methods used by criminals and state actors. You won’t find this course anywhere else.

Kurset går over to dager, mandag 09.02.2026 – tirsdag 10.02.2026. Kurset er fysisk. Tidsplan for kurset;
- Mandag 09.02 – start 09.30, oppmøte senest 09.00 for registrering og oppsett (fint om du er der 08.45), avslutning senest 16.00, lunsj ca kl 12.00.
- Tirsdag 10.02 – start 09.00, avslutning mellom 15.30 - 16.00 (senest), lunsj ca kl 12.00.
PC
Merk at du må ha en PC med administrator rettigheter! Internettet på kursstedet skal være bra. Men det kan være lurt å ha med eget Internett da nettet noen ganger kan være ustabil hvis mange laster ned/surfer etc samtidig. Vi blir ca 39 personer på kurset.
Parkering
Det er flere parkeringshus i nærheten. Ellers å bruke bil i Oslo kan være utfordrende, vurder å ta kollektivt.
Forberedelse til kurset
Du bør ha en god PC/Mac som «går rundt» med administrator rettigheter. Du må ha lastet ned alt som står under og testet at det fungerer på din maskin.
